Massaranduba hardwood terrace

Massaranduba is extremely durable type of mahogany from Brazil.

This hardwood is twice harder than usual mahogany and has fewer color variations than other types of hardwood. Massaranduba can be exploited while maintaining rich colors - "furniture appearance" or under natural weather conditions that cause color fading.

Main characteristics:

- Particularly heavy, hard and finely porous wood, which does not require additional impregnation;
- Wood particularly resistant to friction;
- A rigid fiber and homogeneous structure;
- Product - uniquely beautiful, carefully selected, Premium (0) type (without branches or any other defects), dried and profiled terrace boards;
- Naturally resistant to decay and weathering processes and non-flammable;
- The surface remains smooth, soft and without splinters.

Color: pink / light brown
Weight: 1050 kg / m3
Hardness: 5.5 according to Brinell scale (harder than oak)

Maintenance:
This product isn't requiring any maintenance and it is resistant to natural weather effects, however, to maintain a rich, dark "mahogany" color, the surface oiling is necessary. Otherwise, the wood color will fade and becomes grayish silver.
